CERTIFICATES REQUIREMENTS

Courses covered at the HBI are very intense and of the same caliber as any rigorous Bible College, or Theological Seminary.

Our courses are taught from the Christian’s perspective with the Holy Scriptures as our guide. To complete the program students must undergo mid-term tests or write papers in some of the courses listed below as well as an end-of-term test. Each course is graded for credits according to the standard grading system used in colleges and universities, and each student must maintain a minimum grade of B- in order to graduate.  

Upon completion students qualify for credits transfer with our partners affiliated Seminary/University for their degree completion.

CURRICULUM: LEVE I to II – (Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Theology)

Purpose

To acquaint learners with an overview of Biblical Studies oriented toward helping fellow Christians respond to trials for God’s glory so that they can grow through the experiences and be agents of change in the local church or other Christian institutions.

Learning outcomes

This certificate is equivalent to a 120 credits program taught at many respected seminary. Upon completion of this program students will have a strong background in both ministry and counseling. 

CURRICULUM: LEVEL IV – (Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Theology, Leadership)

Purpose

To prepare students to gain skills in both counseling and ministry.

Learning outcomes

This certificate is equivalent to a 50 credits above level 1 program taught at most approved seminary. Upon completion of this program students will have a strong background in both ministry and counseling.

CURRICULUM: LEVEL V – (Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Theology, Leadership)

Purpose

To provide students with opportunities for advanced studies in counseling and theological reflection on pastoral ministry in order to enhance their service through the local church or church-related ministries.

Learning outcomes

This certificate is equivalent to a 50 credits above level -III program taught at most approved seminary. Upon completion of this program students will become advanced in both ministry and counseling.
